ADVANCED TORQUE CONTROL
Very high performance current vector analysis extends the boundaries of inverter performance to new extremes, delivering exceptional torque performance with moderate current levels. This close current vector also virtually eliminates current-related inverter trips and provides high-performance speed-search on a rotating motor.
Backward compatibility is ensured by retaining the same case outline and terminal connections as previous inverters from the Meiden VT210S range, so existing applications can benefit from the new feature set of the VT210SA range.
These VT210SA models are able to operate in both Variable Torque (VT) and Continuous Torque (CT) modes. This dual-capability allows a lower CT-rated, and therefore more economical, drive to be specified for VT applications. You can determine over 200 parameters to perfectly match the drive to the application, and the VT210SA range is backward compatible with it's VT210S predecessor.
Manual programming need only be executed once because up to 10 complete sets of perameters can be stored in an optional diagnostic operator. The Operator can be plugged into any VT210SA drive to download data -- a useful capability for replicating programmes on several drives, or for reconfiguring drives quickly. The Diagnostic Operator also takes away the need to refer to the manual for parameter numbers. It uses a large LCD display and parameters are displayed in English.
